Our Vision

The Vision of the polytechnic is

  • To be a tool for strengthening peaceful cohabitation among nations of the world as well as building champions through intellect and beyond.
  • To provide high quality and relevant education in the most cost-effective manner to all potential scholars. Consequently, the school is established as a unique City-based private institution with a Governing Council as head of the school maintaining the same Structure that is originally established to muster the following distinctive aims:
  • Categorical moral impartation
  • Entrepreneurial orientation towards the full employment of its product, and
  • Work-study program of activities to instill work ethics and self-reliance in its products

Our mission

In essence, the mission statement of APP is:

  • “Training morally sound students to be academically oriented towards gainful employment and self-reliance.
  • To make global difference in developing leaders and peace agents in all spheres of life, through devotions to excellence in teaching and research.
  • In addition, the Polytechnic will organize and establish schools, colleges for tutorials or Remedial leading to advanced level that will enable scholars to enter into/participate in the conduct of any external examination or for direct admission into APP ND 2 or any other tertiary institution of their choice.
  • African Peace polytechnic shall be affiliated with Tertiary Institutions both home and abroad to run approved recognized courses and exams.

The above stated  mission which also is an expression of the vision statement of the school is basically in line with the philosophy of global academic education as enshrined in the National Policy on Education.
