 EMPLOYMENTS REQUIREMENTS

In order to maintain the Global Educational standard for which African Peace Polytechnic is  known for, there shall be interview to be conducted before any employment is carried out. All the Employments To be made including the Departmental s  both Academic and non Academic shall not be less than,

  • PHD or it’s equivalent
  • MS.C or it’s equivalent
  • B.SC 1st class and not lower than 2nd class upper or it’s equivalent
  •  HND Distinction or Upper Credit.

In Addition to the above, Professional Qualifications  shall be added advantage. However, for the bottom carders, National Diploma (ND) WAEC or their equivalent May be accepted for office Assistant Cleaners and Securities.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTS

  •  All staff may be employed on either permanent, temporary, contract, or hired/ part- time terms, which may be renewed or extended.
  • All supporting staff may be employed on permanent or part-time terms.
  • Generally, Staff shall be subject to two years probation after which   confirmation will be given for Permanent Appointment.
  • The retiring age from service shall be 40years of continuous service and  65 years of  age , which ever one comes first. Beyond this an employee may be re-engage on contract.
  • Each Employee of the institution shall be served with a temporary letter of appointment with the terms and conditions of service and any service  any special classification by the Registrar shall be procured. The appointment of such employee shall be valid only after the submission of a medical certificate of fitness from a Government Hospital  .
  • No employee of the institution may undertake any other paid work without the authority of African Peace Polytechnic.
