ORIENTATION/ MATRICULATION

 ORIENTATION AND MATRICULATION FOR FRESH STUDENTS

The students’ affairs department organizes an orientation program for fresh students at the commencement of every academic year. This program affords the fresh students the opportunity to be acquainted with the necessary information and activities of the school. It is a program every fresh student is expected to fully participate in, as it enables them to settle and adjust to the APP life; the rules and regulations of the school and such other procedures which guide the students and the functions of the various departments and units are explained to them on a daily basis from Monday to Friday. Saturday will now be the matriculation day, where once a year new students are welcomed and sworn on oath of allegiance.

-Medical report

That every student shall produce medical report at the point of registration.

-Matric gown

That during the Orientation, Matriculation or Convocation, students shall be allowed to wear the school academic gown

– Staff during holiday

Staff holiday will be worked out by the management

– Students’ Identity Cards

All duly registered students are entitled to the school’s identity card on payment of prescribed fees. Students are expected to carry their ID cards with them at all times. If a student loses his identity card, before a new one shall be issued to him/her subject to the presentation of sworn affidavit, a thorough investigation shall be carried out to ascertain the circumstance of the loss. That also will include the confirmation of the payment of the prescribed fee.

– Examination Administration

There may be Mid-Semester examination to access their academic ability on the first note and at the end of the semester students are expected to write examinations. For each student to qualify to write examination on any course, he/she must have evidently attended the course lectures with at least 98% attendance.
